UDISE+ Data Checklist
UDISE+ (Unified District Information System for Education Plus) is the Ministry of Education’s annual data collection that every recognised school in India must file. The form runs across school profile, physical infrastructure, teachers, enrolment and facilities, and gathering it at the last minute is where schools slip. Use this checklist to collect the right data through the year so your UDISE+ filing is accurate and on time.

Frequently Asked Questions
What data does a school need for UDISE+ filing?
UDISE+ requires the school profile and UDISE code, physical infrastructure (classrooms, toilets, drinking water, electricity, computers), teacher data (qualifications, subjects, training), class- and category-wise enrolment including CWSN, and facilities such as grants, mid-day meal and board results. Gathering these through the year, rather than at the deadline, keeps the filing accurate.
Is UDISE+ filing mandatory for private schools?
Yes. Every recognised school in India — government, aided and private unaided — must have a UDISE code and file UDISE+ data annually. The data feeds school recognition, planning and grant decisions, so accuracy matters; software that maintains enrolment, staff and infrastructure records year-round makes the annual return far easier to compile.
