Edutris is a cloud-based school management system (SIMS) built for Indian CBSE and ICSE schools. It runs the day-to-day administration of a school — student records, attendance, fees, examinations, report cards, admissions, timetable, staff and parent communication — from one secure web dashboard, with a companion mobile app for parents. It is an admin-first platform, not an online-teaching tool.

Every plan includes the core school suite: student information records, attendance, fee collection with online payments and receipts, examinations and marks entry, report cards, class timetable, parent and student portals, and parent–school communication (announcements and notifications). The Professional plan adds library, transport with live bus GPS tracking, events, document storage, health records, certificates, timetable auto-generation, analytics dashboards, and the AI School Assistant; the Growth plan adds payroll, staff HR, advanced automation and audit logs. Within a plan everything is included — there are no per-module add-on fees.

Yes. Teachers mark daily attendance from the dashboard in one tap per class, and parents see it in the app with automatic absentee alerts. Attendance rolls up into per-student and per-section totals that feed report cards and reports, so you are not maintaining separate registers.

Yes. Teachers enter exam marks and Edutris computes grades, totals, and averages automatically, producing a printable report card for every student. Results are released section by section when the school decides, and parents see them in the app the moment they are published.

Yes. You define fee structures, generate invoices, record payments, issue receipts, and track defaulters. Online fee collection is handled through Razorpay, so parents can pay from the app and the payment reconciles automatically against the student ledger.

Yes. Parents get a dedicated mobile app (iOS and Android) to view attendance, fees, exam results, report cards, timetable, documents, the school calendar, and announcements — plus live school-bus tracking, PTM slot booking, digital permission slips, and push notifications. Fees can be paid from the app via Razorpay.

No — marking attendance needs an internet connection today. The register is designed to be very fast on slow connections: one tap marks the whole class present, and only the exceptions need changing, so a section takes well under a minute even on patchy mobile data.

No — and this is deliberate. Edutris is an administration and management system, not a learning management system (LMS). It does not run live online classes, host video lessons, or deliver course content. It focuses on doing school administration exceptionally well and integrates alongside whatever teaching tools you already use.

Yes. You can capture admission enquiries, track applicants through the funnel, and convert them into enrolled students without re-entering data. The admissions module is part of the standard plan.

Yes. Edutris maintains staff profiles, roles, and access permissions, and supports staff records as part of the core platform. Payroll with payslips and staff leave and attendance are available from the Professional plan up.

Edutris is configurable out of the box — you define your own classes, sections, subjects, fee structures, and exams, and modules can be switched on per school. If you have a specific requirement, talk to us and we will tell you honestly whether it fits.

Yes. Edutris works alongside the tools your school already uses — Razorpay for online fee payments, and email/SMS providers (MSG91, Twilio) for communication — with push notifications through the parent app.

Edutris has published tiers by school size: Starter at ₹2,999/month for up to 250 students, Professional at ₹7,999/month for up to 1,000 students (our most popular plan, with the AI School Assistant included), and Growth at ₹14,999/month for up to 3,000 students. Large schools, chains, societies and trusts get custom Enterprise pricing. Within a tier there are no per-student charges. Annual billing saves 20%.

Everything in that tier: Starter covers attendance, fees with online payments, exams, report cards, timetable, and parent & student portals; Professional adds library, transport with live bus tracking, health records, certificates, analytics dashboards and the AI School Assistant; Growth adds advanced analytics, payroll, staff HR and audit logs. Every plan includes the parent mobile app, cloud hosting, backups, updates and support. Within a plan you are never billed extra for students you admit inside the plan’s band.

It is a single fee per tier. Most Indian school software bills per student per year, so your cost rises every time you admit a child. Edutris charges one monthly amount for your plan — ₹2,999 (Starter, up to 250 students), ₹7,999 (Professional, up to 1,000) or ₹14,999 (Growth, up to 3,000) — and it does not change as enrolment moves within your plan’s band, which makes budgeting predictable.

No. Your plan’s published price is the price — there are no hidden onboarding charges, and migration assistance is available during onboarding. Hosting, backups, product updates, the parent app, and standard onboarding support are included in your plan. Online payment gateway charges (through Razorpay) are the only third-party transaction costs, and those are standard payment-processing fees, not an Edutris markup.

Yes. You can upgrade at any time and get immediate access to the new capabilities; downgrades take effect from the start of your next billing cycle.

Most schools can be up and running quickly once we have your student and staff data. Because Edutris is cloud-based, there is nothing to install on your servers — we set up your school tenant, load your data, and configure classes and fee structures with you. Timelines depend mainly on how clean and ready your existing data is.

Yes. We help you move existing student, staff, and fee data from Excel or Google Sheets, and from most other school software, into Edutris. Sharing your data in a structured spreadsheet is usually the fastest path, and we guide you on the format.

We do the heavy lifting with you. Our team creates your school tenant, imports your data, and configures the core setup (classes, sections, fee heads, exam patterns). You review and confirm along the way, so the setup reflects how your school actually runs.

Yes. We train your administrators and teachers on the parts of Edutris they use day to day, so your staff are comfortable before you go live. Because the interface is designed to be simple, most staff pick it up quickly.

No. Edutris is fully cloud-hosted and runs in a web browser, with a mobile app for parents. You do not need on-premise servers or a dedicated IT department — an internet connection and everyday devices are enough.

Edutris is a cloud-hosted SaaS platform. Your school runs on secure cloud infrastructure with data encrypted in transit, and each school is isolated in its own tenant so one school can never see another school’s data.

Yes. Edutris is a true multi-tenant SaaS platform: every school is a separate, isolated tenant. Your students, staff, fees, and records are logically separated from every other school on the platform, so there is no cross-school data access.

Yes. Regular backups are part of the managed service and included in every plan — you do not have to run or pay for backups yourself. This protects your school against accidental loss.

Edutris is built with the principles of India’s Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) framework in mind — collecting only the data a school needs, isolating each school’s data, restricting access by role, and giving schools control over their own records. Student and family data is treated as sensitive and handled accordingly.

Access is role-based. Administrators, teachers, and other staff only see what their role permits, and parents only see their own child’s information. You control who gets which role, so sensitive data such as fees or staff records stays with the right people.

Your school owns its data. You can export your records, and if you ever choose to leave, you can take your data with you. Edutris does not lock your information away.

We run on reliable cloud infrastructure with proactive monitoring and performance optimization, plus automated backups. In the rare event of an outage, we prioritise restoring service and communicate status throughout.
