Getting started

How does Edutris onboarding work?

Every school starts with a 30-day guided pilot — there is no self-serve trial to fumble through alone. Our implementation team sets up your school on your real structure and data, so you evaluate Edutris on your actual workflow, not a demo script — with our implementation team migrating your data, training staff, and rolling out the parent app alongside you.

Before you start

  • Nominate one point-person (usually the principal or office head) who can answer structure questions quickly — most pilot delays are waiting on decisions, not software.
  • Have your structure written down: classes and sections, subjects per class, and the staff list with each person’s role.
  • Export your current student register from Excel — one row per student, with guardian names and phone numbers.
  • Decide your fee heads and amounts per class for the academic year; the finance setup mirrors whatever you decide here.

Steps

  1. 1

Book a demo — we walk your team through Edutris live on a real demo school.

  2. 2

Share your structure: classes, sections, subjects, fee heads and staff list.

  3. 3

We set up your school and import your student data (CSV import supported).

  4. 4

Each role — principal, teachers, accountant, parents — gets onboarded to their own portal.

  5. 5

Run Edutris alongside your current process for the pilot; go fully live when ready.

Good to know

  • There is no self-serve trial to fumble through alone — the pilot is guided, and the implementation team does the data work with you.
  • Each role gets its own portal: principal, teachers, accountant, parents and students each see only what their role needs.
  • You can run Edutris alongside your existing registers for the whole pilot — going fully live is a decision you make, not a switch we flip.
  • The AI assistant is part of the Professional plan and above; on other plans those features simply stay hidden rather than appearing locked.

Common questions

Do we need to install anything at the school?

No. Edutris is cloud-based — staff use a web browser and parents use the mobile app. There is no server to buy or maintain on site, and no software to install on office machines.

How much of our staff’s time does the pilot take?

The heavy lifting — setup and data import — is done by the implementation team. Your side is decisions (structure, fee heads, roles) and attending role-wise walkthroughs. Teachers typically need one short session to start marking attendance and entering marks.

What if we decide not to continue after the pilot?

Then you stop — the pilot exists so you can evaluate Edutris on your real workflow before committing. Your student lists and reports can be exported to CSV at any point, so nothing is locked in.
